Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do. The Divemaster course is your first level of professional training.

The course is divided into two sections. The first part consists knowledge and theory. At Elite Scuba you will have access to the knowledge of two very experienced Instructors, with 15 years and 12 years respectively teaching diving.

PADI Divemaster Course

  • Advanced Diver certification
  • Rescue Diver certification

Certification Requirements:

  • Complete Knowledge Reviews
  • Pass the Divemaster exam
  • Prepare an emergency assistance plan for a dive site
  • Swim 400m
  • 15 min water tread
  • 800m snorkel swim
  • 100m diver tow in full scuba
  • Underwater equipment exchange while buddy breathing
  • Preform a Rescue Scenario
  • Complete Dive Skills Workshop (24 Skills)
  • Prepare and manage a dive site
  • Participate in a mapping project
  • Deliver a dive briefing
  • Conduct a Search and Recovery Scenario
  • Conduct a Deep Dive Scenario
  • Conduct a Scuba Review Program
  • Supervise a Skin Diver Course
  • Conduct a Discover Scuba Diving Program
  • Conduct a Discover Local Diving Program
  • Assist in a Open Water Course
  • Assist on a Continuing Education Course

Certification Depth: 30m

Certification Card and Certificate will be issued upon completion of course.



RAID Divemaster Course (Level 4)

Pre-requisites:

  • Rescue Diver certification
  • Valid CPR and Oxygen Provider certification
  • Minimum Age 18 years
  • Minimum of 25 hours logged underwater in an open water environment.
  • Have Navigation, Night and Deep certificates

Certification Requirements:

  • Complete 9 online quizzes
  • Pass an online written exam
  • Swim 600m in 20 min
  • 800m Snorkel swim
  • 25m underwater swim
  • 15 minutes water tread
  • 150m diver tow in full scuba under 6 min
  • 10m underwater swim in full scuba with no air to buddy followed by 50m swim while sharing air
  • Hover motionless while removing and replacing mask and fins
  • Preform a open water rescue scenario
  • Complete 4 pool training sessions
  • Complete a Rescue Management Plan
  • Participate in 4 Scenarios including a dive to 40m

Certification Depth: 40m

Online Certification Card (E-Card) and Certificate will be issued upon completion of course.
